United States President Donald Trump once again attacked host Stephen Colbert after the airing of the final episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
According to the website UNILAD, Trump shared an AI-generated video showing him throwing Colbert into a dumpster, in what appeared to be a provocation regarding the end of the CBS talk show.
The program’s final episode aired this week, bringing to an end more than three decades of the The Late Show franchise, originally created by David Letterman. Colbert hosted the show since 2015 and became one of Trump’s most frequent critics on American television.

previously stated that the show’s cancellation was driven by financial reasons and the challenges facing the late-night talk show market in the United States. Even so, the cancellation sparked political debates, especially after criticism made by Colbert involving Paramount and Trump.
On social media, both supporters and critics of the host reacted to the video shared by Trump, increasing the attention surrounding the end of the show and the public rivalry between the two.
“So he’s admitting it was government censorship,” one X user analyzed. “Let’s not forget the Epstein documents,” another jabbed. “An entire lake was boiled away to create this,” lamented a third internet user.
