Sunny Hostin, legal expert and co-host of “The View,” stated that the U.S. president is allegedly seeking $230 million in compensation from the Department of Justice for the investigations against him.
Hostin added that Trump did not know the specific details and claimed that he would donate the money to charity.
“I think we need to speak clearly to people and call things what they are: this is mafia boss behavior,” the host began.
“He is extorting and looting the federal government, in my opinion. And he’s extorting and looting the same government he’s been extorting and looting for years,” she continued accusingly.

Sunny Hostin also noted that the Trump family has earned $3.4 billion since he took office for the first time in 2017.
The legal analyst also mentioned the controversy involving the U.S. president’s conversation with Indonesia’s president, Prabowo Subianto, saying that Donald Trump Jr. was supposed to call Subianto.
“And what else? How about that $400 million plane from Qatar? His ‘private jet,’” said Sunny Hostin.
“And the fact that now our tax dollars—if he gets those $230 million—will be used to renovate the White House, which, by the way, he never intends to leave,” she added critically.
