“I don’t have the time or desire to delve so deeply for so long and not be present,” she explained. “I know I have a finite amount of time left, and maybe I’ll announce it here on this show—that I became a grandmother last year,” the actress said.
“I’ve been very quiet about it and it’s… it’s paradise. It’s ridiculous. And if I had known I would be a grandmother, I wouldn’t have taken on so much work, but I enjoyed it all and I’m very grateful. I loved… I love each one of those projects. And the strangest thing is that letting go of that anxiety about the process has freed me, and I feel that, in some way, it has made me a better person,” she added.
