Conservative podcaster Candace Owens commented on a conspiracy theory on her show on Wednesday (14) while speculating about who might be behind the murder of Charlie Kirk.

The founder of Turning Point USA was killed at the age of 31 during an event at Utah Valley University in September 2025. Tyler Robinson was identified as the alleged killer.
The podcaster, however, shared private messages between her and Kirk, suggesting that there was something more behind the activist’s death. She claims that agents like those in the film “The Matrix” were involved.
“They knew something about Charlie, and that’s why they marked him, turned him into a martyr, and followed him from a young age.” Owens stated that both she and Kirk were “controlled” by these agents.
According to the podcaster’s theory, the alleged agents wanted to “change an outcome related to Charlie” in the future, refusing to explain how this time travel would work.

“For the first time in his life, Charlie begins to react in a significant way,” Owens said, adding that Kirk knew his death was approaching.
Many internet users commented that the podcaster’s statements were “schizophrenic.”
“This is so painful to watch. Even more frightening is knowing that there are people among us who believe this nonsense,” one wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
“That this woman has an audience is the scariest thing about America right now. People listen to the ramblings of a completely unhinged person and then adopt it as something to defend. It’s over,” lamented another.

Candace Owens is now pushing that Charlie Kirk was a TIME TRAVELLER – and that he had “AGENTS” (yes, like the Matrix) monitoring him from childhood – and that he was killed because he tried to DISTURB space-time continuum. No, I’m not kidding. pic.twitter.com/qPAsbbZ7l7
