“I always tell him, ‘You know I was Batman.’ He always replies, ‘No.’ I don’t know if he realized how deep it was when he said I wasn’t Batman,” which reportedly became the trigger for him to make his son watch the 1997 film.

In 2021, he was asked whether he would make a special appearance in the film “The Flash,” which featured Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck, two actors who had also worn the Batman mantle.
“They didn’t call me,” he told Marc Malkin of Variety. “When you destroy a franchise the way I destroyed it, they usually pretend you don’t exist when ‘The Flash’ comes out,” he replied.
