The actress was 18 at the time and said that “really crazy” things happened during filming.

“I’m a vegetarian, but there really weren’t many vegetables because of where we were, because of Chernobyl. So they would just bring me a Coke and potatoes,” said Patricia Arquette.

She also said that she was once served meat with hair in the middle of the potatoes. The actress also had to film several times during the lunch break.

Patricia Arquette played Zero in “Pretty Smart,” who led a rebellious group at a private school in Greece. She revealed that she had to take care of her own costume and keep her own notes for continuity.

Distressed, she called her sister Rosanna Arquette to vent.

“She said: ‘Why are you saying that?’ And I told her about some of the craziest things that had happened,” she recalled. “And she said: ‘Honey, movies aren’t like that.’”

After her sister’s encouragement, Patricia Arquette continued acting and went on to win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Boyhood (2014).
