Lisa Kudrow, the eternal Phoebe from Friends, has gone viral again on social media with a satire she made about Trump supporters a few years ago.
+ Jennifer Aniston says the “Friends” cast was grieving Matthew Perry even before his death
The actress took part in the satirical Netflix documentary Death to 2020 and gave a spot-on portrayal of what MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement supporters are like.
At the time, Lisa played Jeanetta Grace Susan, an unofficial spokesperson for the Republican Party reacting to controversies and speaking to the press after being held accountable.
“The whole impeachment thing had no basis, right? Democrats argue that Trump pressured Ukraine to dig up dirt on the Biden family,” Jeanetta said during a conversation with reporters.
“But the only real ‘evidence’ of this is the transcript of him doing it,” she added, just before being asked by the reporter about the transcript.
“What transcript?” Jeanetta asked. “You just mentioned a transcript,” replied the reporter behind the camera. “Check your tape. I didn’t say anything about that,” the spokesperson argued next, without losing her smile.
The clip of the scene was recently posted on X (formerly Twitter), where it has already garnered over 1.3 million likes and hundreds of comments from netizens praising Lisa’s flawless performance.
“Scary how it’s not a joke. Kudrow is really good,” said one user. “Exactly accurate,” commented another. “You know she’s a genius, really,” said a third.
