During a rally by Donald Trump on Wednesday (11) in Hebron, Kentucky, a woman fainted behind the president, prompting the administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to assist her.
While Trump was speaking about California governor Gavin Newsom, several people in the audience began raising their hands asking for help and shouting for a doctor.
“Do we have any doctors here? A doctor?”, Trump said after turning around to see what was happening. “Yes, take the time you need, please,” he continued, trying to calm the situation.
“Take the time you need. We have all the time. These are incredible people. They waited so long. Hours and hours. They are incredible people, aren’t they? We all have time, right?” the president said into the microphone.
Donald Trump praised the work of the first responders and Mehmet Oz, who stood up to help the woman who was feeling unwell.

“It’s Dr. Oz! Can you believe it? Dr. Oz! And he is a good doctor. Thank you, Oz,” he said, impressed.
Oz had previously assisted a girl who fainted in the Oval Office in April 2025 during Oz’s own swearing-in. In November last year, he also helped a man who fell ill at the White House.
Trump then resumed his critical speech about California’s governor. “We were talking about Gavin. It doesn’t seem like a very good subject right now. It made that young woman feel sick,” he joked, laughing at the situation.
