William Shatner, known for portraying Captain Kirk in the original ‘Star Trek’ series, has expressed interest in reprising his role using rejuvenation technology, provided the storyline is compelling enough.
According to an interview with the Daily Star, the 93-year-old actor ruled out a cameo appearance but said he would consider returning to the role full-time if there were a real reason for the character’s presence, beyond just pleasing fans.
Shatner starred in the original series and five films of the sci-fi franchise, but his character died in “Star Trek Generations” in 1994.
Additionally, William shared his tips for maintaining good health and energy, emphasizing that he avoids smoking and drinking, as well as maintaining a routine of exercise and a balanced diet.
Recently, Shatner also became the oldest man to go into space, flying with Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin, an experience that deeply moved him.
