Fans of “Wicked” will be able to sing along to their favorite songs from the musical in interactive screenings happening at 1,000 theaters across the U.S.
Fans of “Wicked” can now prepare to sing along to their favorite songs from the musical in interactive screenings starting on December 25 at 1,000 theaters across the U.S.
These special screenings will feature the song lyrics on the screen, allowing the audience to sing along to classics like “Popular” and “Defying Gravity” without fear of making mistakes. In a press release, Jim Orr, president of domestic theatrical distribution at Universal Pictures, spoke about the interactive screenings.
“These sing-along screenings offer fans a unique opportunity to become part of the story they’ve embraced with such enthusiasm. There is something extraordinarily special about experiencing this beloved musical together as a community, and we are excited to create this opportunity during the holiday season.”
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo star in “Wicked“, the film version of the Broadway show about what happened before Dorothy arrived in Oz and walked down the famous “Yellow Brick Road”.
