“Know your rights. But also check and find out what their rights are,” she said, adding that people have the right to peacefully protest against the operations.
“Some of them really know what they are doing and are going through hard times because they don’t recognize the agency they worked for for years. So, there is a lot going on,” Whoopi Goldberg said.
She continued by stressing that people should be careful and document everything that is being done during an ICE approach.
“Stay safe, keep them safe, protest as much as you want, but don’t get into trouble.”
