In Tuesday’s (16) episode of “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg condemned conservatives who remained silent after Donald Trump’s attacks on Rob Reiner and his wife Michele, who were brutally murdered.

“There is no justification for what he wrote. There is no way to justify it, and all of these Republicans who are staying quiet—damn all of you. Damn all of you,” Whoopi Goldberg vented.

“I don’t know how you were raised, but this man’s family is in deep mourning, and what you said and what you insisted on make you someone who is bad for this country,” the actress stated.

“I see that many conservatives are feeling the same way, and I need to say this: there is something we all know—that when something horrible happens, we come together,” the host argued.

Whoopi Goldberg was referring to a comment made by Trump one day after Reiner’s death.

“Rob Reiner, a film director and comedy actor, tormented and struggling, but once very talented, passed away, along with his wife, Michele,” the president wrote on his profile on the social network Truth Social.

He claimed that the couple had died “allegedly due to the anger he caused in others through his enormous, inflexible, and incurable affliction,” which he himself called “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” or TDS.

In addition to Whoopi Goldberg, other commentators on “The View” criticized the stance of the U.S. president.

Republican co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin added that it was important to see that “there was some reaction from the right” after Trump’s statements, but that she would have liked to see more responses.
