Drea de Matteo, actress from “The Sopranos”, says that the adult content platform OF saved her life.

In an interview with Daily Mail, de Matteo revealed that she had only $10 in her bank account and was close to losing her home. “OF saved my life, 100 percent. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it really saved us,” she told the newspaper.
The actress struggled to get roles in Hollywood after refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

“They started foreclosure proceedings and my house had flooded, so I was trying to sell the house quickly,” de Matteo recounted.

Besides housing issues, she went through the process of losing her mother.

“I lost my mother, and my other mother, who has dementia, ran out of money for her caregiver. I didn’t know where to turn.”

De Matteo’s success was instant. “I was like, wow. In five minutes, I was able to pay Compass Real Estate which held the sale of my house,” she stated.

Being part of the platform was never the actress’s main plan, she says she received a lot of criticism for joining the platform.

“Anyone who wants to judge and criticize me, go ahead. I just hope you never find yourself in the position I was in to take care of two small children,” she said according to Page Six.

She is the mother of a 16-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son.

De Matteo says she achieved financial stability with the earnings from the platform in September 2023.

In an interview with Page Six in 2021, she said she originally earned only $500 per episode on “The Sopranos”.

“Later I got a few thousand and probably towards the end was when I started getting series shares, but that money came and went immediately,” she revealed. “The Sopranos” aired from 1999 to 2007 and according to de Matteo, the cast does not receive royalties.
