After nearly ten years since the premiere of Netflix’s hit series, David Harbour said he’s ready to say goodbye to “Stranger Things.”

In an interview with Interview Magazine, David Harbour, who plays Sheriff Jim Hopper, was asked whether he felt relieved after filming the final scenes of “Stranger Things.”

“When I started, I loved it so much. My friends who had done shows for many years would say: ‘By the third or fourth season, you’ll want to run away.’ And I thought: ‘Never! I love these people so much.’”

The “Thunderbolts” actor, however, questioned how long a story can be told.

“There comes a point when you think: ‘How many stories are left?’” David Harbour explained.

“You start repeating the same beats, and there’s that feeling of: ‘I want to take a risk. I want to do something people haven’t seen me do yet.’ So yes, after 10 years, it’s like: ‘Okay, that’s enough,’” he continued.

“I don’t paint my nails, but I understand that idea of: ‘I can’t cut my hair’ or ‘I can’t shave this damn mustache,’” he reflected.

David Harbour will play Jim Hopper for the last time in the final season of “Stranger Things,” which will arrive on the platform in three volumes.

Volume 1 will arrive on November 26, with four episodes. The second part will be released on December 25, with three more episodes.

The final episode of “Stranger Things” arrives on December 31.
