A source told the magazine Rolling Stone that host Jonathan Van Ness had “anger issues” on the set of the reality show “Queer Eye.”

The information is that the host would have a shouting match at least once a week, creating a “scary” atmosphere for everyone. Strong words like “monster,” “nightmare,” and “humiliating” were used to describe Van Ness’s actions.

At least three people were interviewed by Rolling Stone. They also said that the relationship among the other four hosts of the reality show was turbulent.

“There was absolutely tension among all the others,” said one of the production sources to Rolling Stone, “especially with Jonathan Van Ness,” added.

Sources also inform that Netflix executives tried to ease the situation, but there wasn’t much result.

Jonathan Van Ness found success after his participation in “Queer Eye,” along with the other hosts who in December 2019 were the first non-female individuals to appear on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine, and have since become activists for transgender rights.

“As much as he wants to do good for the world, I think that’s very hypocritical,” said an internal source.
