Denise Richards, who is one of the stars of the Fox reality show Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, opened up about the injury she sustained during one of the challenges on the show.
The reality show, based on the British program SAS: Who Dares Wins, follows a group of celebrities as they face hostile environments in a military training course, and Richards is part of the third season’s cast.
However, she shared that she ruptured her silicone implants while competing, after host Jeff Lewis listed some of her stunts on the show, including jumping from a boat to a helicopter.
“I also jumped off a bridge, and that’s when I ruptured my implants… from that thing,” Richards said, who was accompanied by her husband, Aaron Phypers, on the show Jeff Lewis Live on Syrius XM radio.
“I still have to get them fixed. I was supposed to do it a month ago, but I couldn’t because we were filming,” Richards added, also being asked by Lewis whether the show would pay for her implant repairs.
Unfortunately, Richards admitted she will have to pay for the procedure herself. “I think we pretty much signed our lives away doing that show. It’s dangerous,” she explained.
