According to *People* magazine, Priscilla Presley was accused of falsely declaring to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on May 4, 2023, that she owned only $6,000 worth of jewelry.

She was sued by her former business partners, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, who were working to “finalize” the settlement between Priscilla Presley and her granddaughter, Riley Keough.

The agreement resulted in a multimillion-dollar payment that Priscilla needed, in addition to large payouts to other family members.

The lawsuit also alleges that she knew she possessed a jewelry collection, as well as collectibles on display and stored at Graceland, valued at more than $25 million.

The collection was reportedly kept off-site, in a facility managed by Angie Marchese, who oversees the Graceland archives — Elvis Presley’s mansion in the state of Tennessee.

The filing states that the partners were fired after Priscilla Presley discovered they intended to inform the IRS of the collection’s true value.

“The allegations made by Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko are absurd and completely without merit,” said Presley’s attorney, Marty Singer.

“This false claim is nothing more than a sad and malicious attempt to tarnish the reputation of an 80-year-old woman,” he added.

In August, Kruse and Fialko also accused Presley of ignoring the problems faced by her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, who died in January 2023.
