Pamela Anderson has spoken out against accusations that she faked a relationship with Liam Neeson as a “marketing stunt” for her new film.

Anderson, 58, began being romantically linked to Neeson, 73, while the two were promoting their new film, The Naked Gun.
Despite the large number of “shippers” the alleged couple quickly attracted, many suggested that the closeness between the two was nothing more than a marketing ploy.
This is not an uncommon practice in Hollywood. Many actors start sparking dating rumors simply to promote their new joint projects.
And with Anderson and Neeson apparently enjoying their chemistry during interviews, it seemed quite fair to believe they were doing the same thing.
However, the Baywatch star completely dismissed the idea during her acceptance speech at the 51st American Film Festival in Deauville, France.
On that occasion, the actress received the Deauville Talent Award and took the opportunity to set the record straight. “I don’t engage in and never will engage in PR stunts,” she said.
“That would be a death sentence. I am authentically motivated. I’m superstitious when it comes to love. And I don’t feel comfortable sharing even a trace of my romantic life,” she added.
The star went on to say that she will continue to “fall in love over and over again on screen,” because “that is my job.” “If we do it well, you will feel it, a kind of projection,” Anderson further explained.
She described the speculation as the “greatest compliment.” “So please, think positively. And thank you for your good wishes. There are no silly games being played. I am sincere.”
