In a statement featured in the documentary “Ozzy: No Escape From Now,” Aimee Osbourne opened her heart to talk about her father’s health condition during the last years of his life.

Aimee is often called the “forgotten daughter” because she avoids the spotlight, unlike her siblings Kelly and Jack. She spoke about the difficult times her father went through in his final years.
She recalled how a fall Ozzy suffered in 2018 marked the beginning of a long period of pain and struggle for him, as he was never able to fully recover after breaking his neck.
The fall also worsened injuries from a previous accident in 2003, when he lost control of a quad bike that flipped over onto him.
“He had already been through so many accidents that I witnessed, but it was clear that this was not one he would walk away from unharmed,” Aimee shared.
Ozzy was forced to cancel shows because of the fall, which, according to his daughter, was his “greatest heartbreak.”

“We were raised to believe that doctors are superheroes, and while some are truly very skilled, many simply don’t have the answers,” Aimee Osbourne said, explaining that her father was in constant pain.
“He was in immense suffering, in a lot of pain. I can’t imagine that many people are used to seeing their parents like that,” she continued.
The documentary was released after Ozzy Osbourne’s death but, according to the producers, was not intended to be a posthumous film.
