Ana Orsini, who presented the channel’s main morning news on KOLD News 13, died last week after a brain aneurysm, the channel reported.
The 28-year-old presenter, beloved by viewers on the CBS channel in Tucson, Arizona, was remembered by many colleagues on social media.
“We have lost a beloved member of our news team at KOLD. Ana Orsini was our anchor, a leader of the morning team, and most importantly, a good friend to many at the station,” wrote co-anchor Cory Kowitz on social media.
Tyler Butler, anchor at KOLD News 13, also paid tribute to Orsini. “We had the opportunity to work with her every day, and we want you to know that what you saw on the air, the funny and quirky person she was, was exactly how she was off camera and so much more,” he wrote on Facebook.
Carsyn Currier, Orsini’s co-anchor, expressed her grief over her death by saying that she “wasn’t just beautiful, talented, and funny, she was also unlike anyone I’ve ever met.” “She made everyone around her feel special, heard, and understood,” she wrote on her Instagram profile.
