Television anchor Erika Tarantal filmed herself preparing to face a historic snowstorm that left 60 cm of snow cover in Dedham, Massachusetts, on Monday (23).
Tarantal works for ABC WCVB and had to put on her ski gear to be able to reach her workplace.
“[These are] the efforts I make so I don’t have to take my car out of the hotel’s covered garage,” the news anchor explained.
“Here we go!” she said, dressed in winter clothing. “And they say the U.S. Postal Service handles anything!” Tarantal joked as she moved through the white landscape.
“Okay, the station is right over there. I swear!” she exclaimed, pointing to where the station would be. The view from her camera was completely impaired by the snowstorm.

“I made it to the newsroom!” she celebrated with a laugh.
Blizzard conditions were recorded across the entire northeastern United States, according to the National Weather Service (NWS), as Winter Storm Hernando hits the region.
“These storms can occur at any time of the year, but are more frequent and more severe between September and April,” the NWS reported.
