Fans are asking for another season of a new Netflix series described as a ‘masterpiece.’

One Hundred Years of Solitude, based on the acclaimed novel by Gabriel García Márquez, is now available on the streaming service and has already set records. The series currently has 91 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and 88 percent positive reviews from critics.

Viewers also agree, and many rushed to express their praise on Reddit, asking Netflix for a second season. “Gabriel García Márquez’ masterpiece is finally on Netflix, and I am so happy about it,” said one Reddit user.

“I just finished the series, and it’s only half of the book! They need to make the second part!”, said another user. “I felt exactly the same way when I watched two episodes of the first season of Game of Thrones, another book I feared would be poorly adapted to TV,” remarked a third user.
