Richard Spencer shared in the new English TV program “My Wife, My Abuser” about the abuse he endured from his wife. The program aired on Monday (February 18) on Channel 5.

According to the Daily Star, Spencer suffered at the hands of his wife, Sheree Spencer, for twenty years. He commented on a situation he considers “the most demoralizing thing that ever happened to me.”

He was prohibited from using the bathroom by his wife, as when she “got up to go to the bathroom, and I was standing in front of where the bathroom was, and the next minute I just realized she defecated on my head.”

The program prompted internet users to take to social media to urge men in abuse situations to speak out about this situation.

“Poor man. There must be many men out there suffering. I hope they speak out. #MyWifeMyAbuser,” commented one on the X network.
