Fans of ‘Black Mirror’, the anthology science fiction series, can already gear up for another journey with the show. Netflix has confirmed the 7th season, slated to premiere only in 2025 and will consist of six episodes; some details revealed by the streaming service have already left fans very curious.

The series created by Charlie Brooker will include a follow-up to the science fiction adventure from the 4th season, the episode “USS Callister”. “Robert Daly is dead, but for the crew of the USS Callister, the problems are just beginning,” said Netflix, clearly teasing its viewers and heightening the expectations of fans.

‘USS Callister’ was the first episode of the fourth season of ‘Black Mirror’, and it starred Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson, and Michaela Coel. In the story, Daly (Plemons), a reclusive yet talented programmer, is resentful of the lack of recognition from his coworkers. To alleviate his frustrations, Daly spends hours in a game that simulates a space adventure, similar to ‘Star Trek.
