The Mickey Mouse and Winnie-The-Pooh crossover is already in production and, according to Deadline, filming of ‘Mickey vs. Winnie’ has begun under the direction of Glenn Douglas Packard, who has promised horror fans a “tribute to blood” and a version of Mickey Mouse “unlike anything audiences have ever seen.”

According to the synopsis: “In the 1920s, two convicts escape into a cursed forest only to be dragged down and consumed in the depths of the dark, muddy heart of the forest. A century later, a group of thrill-seekers ventures into the same forest. Their escape takes a horrific turn as the convicts transform into twisted versions of the childhood icons Mickey Mouse and Winnie-The-Pooh.”

According to the description, viewers will have a “night of violence and blood” on screen as the group “battles against their now monstrous and beloved childhood characters” and tries to “free themselves from the forest’s grasp.”

“Horror fans crave the thrill of seeing icons like the new ‘Aliens and Avengers’ sharing the screen. While licensing nightmares make such crossovers rare, ‘Mickey Vs Winnie‘ serves as our tribute to this thrilling fantasy,” said Packard.
