Mel Gibson revealed to his fans how he drastically lost weight at the age of 69 by following the diet known as the “30-30-30 method”.

Famous for “Braveheart” and “Mad Max,” the Hollywood actor gave details of his physical transformation on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

According to Mel Gibson, the diet was created by expert Gary Brecka and is recommended by UFC president Dana White.

The director of “The Passion of the Christ” stated that he weighed 107 kg and “needed to do something about it.”

After following the diet of 30 grams of protein in the first 30 minutes of the day, followed by 30 minutes of exercise, he noticed that he had lost more than 10 kg.

According to reports from Men’s Health and The Telegraph, Mel Gibson began following the diet after consulting with Australian nutritionist Samantha Jackson.

Following the expert’s guidance, he lost 14 kg and 27 cm from his waistline.

The actor’s diet consisted of an omelet with tomato and paprika for breakfast, a protein shake, chicken with asparagus, broccoli, green beans, and sweet potatoes, another protein shake, and grilled salmon, baked potatoes, and green salad for dinner.

“All of this has been magical. I feel so good and healthy,” said Mel Gibson, according to The Telegraph.
