After being compared to Adam Sandler since he was eight years old, Max Kessler was invited to participate in the recently released Netflix movie.
Max went viral after the star of “Click” starred in the 2016 comedy-action movie “The Do-Over,” where Adam Sandler plays a character named Max Kessler.
The coincidence did not go unnoticed by Max, who went to Reddit to comment about the character. “What are the chances of this happening?” he told PEOPLE magazine.
At the time, Max was invited to the movie’s premiere. The two met on the red carpet, with Sandler calling him a “younger, sweeter, and better version of me.”
“I was super nervous because he is one of the best, if not the best, comedians and actors of all time, and I had never met the guy before,” Kessler recalled. “It was probably one of the best moments I’ve ever had.”

Nine years later, he got a chance to be Adam Sandler’s body double in the movie “Happy Gilmore 2.” He was not confident he could act in front of hundreds of people but accepted the offer.
“If you’re not an actor, you simply don’t understand anything they’re saying. I just kept thinking, ‘I can’t believe I’m here, about to do a scene in front of all these people,’” he said.
Kessler played the younger version of the protagonist in some flashback scenes.
Besides Adam Sandler’s lookalike, the movie featured special appearances by Bad Bunny, Eminem, Rory McIlroy, and many others.
