A Texas-based artist and doll collector named James Robertson-Reavis has amazed his followers with a life-sized silicone replica of actor Henry Cavill.
In an exclusive interview with Queerty, Robertson-Reavis shared that he has owned several dolls since starting his collection in 1991. He decided to commission the silicone Henry Cavill from British designer Steve Davies of SD Sculpt & Design.
The life-sized piece features eerily realistic details such as arm and chest hair. Even the physical attributes of the Man of Steel actor were recreated to scale.
The collector, who has lived with his husband for 13 years, will now be sharing the realistic Henry Cavill doll with him. One Instagram follower joked that with a doll this real, a boyfriend might not even be necessary.
Robertson-Reavis shared photos on Instagram, edited with artificial intelligence to bring the silicone replica “to life.”
“I have several Halloween animatronics, but only Henry when it comes to realistic figures,” he said. “We bought him to display and use on Instagram,” he explained.
Despite some suggestive comments, the silicone Henry Cavill is not meant for other purposes.
“So, he wasn’t made that way, so to speak…” he joked.
