“We would like to thank NCMEC, Netflix’s ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ series, and Crimestoppers GNO for helping to draw public attention to this case,” he stated.

The boy’s mother and the man arrested with her were charged with second-degree kidnapping, forgery, identity theft, providing false information to authorities, and trespassing.

“We are immensely happy that Aziz has finally been found. […] We ask for privacy so we can reunite as a family and heal together,” Khan’s family said in a statement.
