Burke Ramsey, brother of JonBenét Ramsey, refused to testify in a new Netflix documentary about the tragic death of his sister.

Little Miss JonBenét was only 6 years old when she was brutally murdered in 1996, a case that remains unsolved to this day.

The new Netflix documentary, Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey?, addresses this topic and includes testimony from her family, including her father John. However, the absence of Burke, JonBenét’s older brother, did not go unnoticed by internet users.

“Burke doesn’t talk about the case. Ever. He never talks about JonBenét. It’s not a topic of conversation in the family, and he never shares anything about her,” a source told US Magazine.

“When he was younger, even her name upset him because it was really painful, and he didn’t know what to do with it. Then, when he was in high school, he knew all the whispers. He doesn’t read anything about the case, doesn’t watch anything about it. If he sees a program about it, he changes the channel.”

“He’s not at all interested in watching any of the documentaries. He won’t watch [the Netflix documentary]. No way. It’s a trigger for him, and there is no benefit to him in it,” the anonymous source added.

The only time Burke spoke about the case was in 2016 when he appeared in an interview on the Dr. Phil show. At the time, he sued CBS News for defamation after they aired a two-part special suggesting he might have killed his sister.
