Janelle and Kody Brown, stars of the reality show Sister Wives, revealed that their 25-year-old son, Garrison, was found dead last Tuesday (5) in an apparent suicide.
+ Source reports that Jonathan Van Ness from “Queer Eye” had “anger issues” on set.
The Flagstaff Police Department told TMZ that Garrison was found dead in his home in Arizona, where he had been living alone since 2021. Authorities responded to Garrison’s residence after a death report.
In a statement to the news outlet, the officers reported that Garrison was dead on the scene, adding that he appeared to have suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The department also mentioned that Garrison’s brother, Gabriel, was the one who found him, and officers do not suspect any foul play, according to the report, and the death is being investigated as a suicide.
Later, Janelle used Instagram to confirm the news of her loss. “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy, Robert Garrison Brown,” she wrote alongside two photos of Garrison.
“He was a bright spot in the lives of everyone who knew him. His loss will leave such a large hole in our lives that it will take our breath away. We ask that you respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
Garrison appeared on Sister Wives since 2010, the reality show documenting his 55-year-old father’s polygamous lifestyle. His mother, Janelle, 54, was one of Kody’s wives until she separated from him in 2022.
