Jack Black may be gearing up to play another character from the world of video games: Steve from Minecraft.
Black is reportedly joining the cast of the upcoming game adaptation, and Deadline reports that he will portray Steve, the original default skin of the Minecraft character.
Black had an incredible performance as Bowser in the 2023 film The Super Mario Bros and will play the sarcastic robot Claptrap in the Borderlands movie.

The film is also set to star Jason Momoa, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, and Sebastian Eugene Hansen, according to Deadline. The movie, which has been in development for a long time, is scheduled to hit theaters on April 4, 2025.
