In an interview with the LADbible portal, Harrison Ford spoke about how he was convinced to participate in the sequels of “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones.”

Harrison Ford, 82, who is set to make his debut in a Marvel film, told LADbible how he was “lured” back into the roles of Han Solo and Indiana Jones in the latest versions of the movies.

Following Hollywood’s trend of releasing remakes and reboots of its franchises, Ford took the opportunity to revive iconic characters in “Blade Runner 2049,” “Star Wars,” and “Indiana Jones.”

However, the actor revealed that the idea of returning to these franchises was never his own. “I never initiated any of these projects. I was lured into most of these circumstances… willingly,” he confessed.

Harrison Ford said he was very happy with his latest appearance in the movie “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.” “Seeing Indy at that stage in life fascinated me, and I was excited to make this film,” he stated.

“I opportunistically take advantage of what’s available, and sometimes I seek something outside my comfort zone. It has always been fun to be able to do that. I think that’s the natural mindset of an actor,” he added.

Ford returns to the big screen as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross in the film “Captain America: Brave New World.”
