The report was commissioned by production company Banijay UK and included 45 complaints against Wallace, such as unwanted physical contact and three incidents in which he was partially undressed.
It was also revealed that the former MasterChef host received 79 additional allegations of inappropriate behavior between 2004 and 2005.
The BBC commented on the case and issued an apology to everyone affected by Gregg Wallace’s actions.
“Although the full extent of these issues was not known at the time, opportunities to address this behavior were missed by both the production companies responsible for MasterChef and the BBC itself.”

“We confirm that there are no plans for future projects with him,” the broadcaster stated.
The former host responded and claimed he was innocent of the accusations.
“The most damaging allegations (including from public figures, which were not confirmed) were found to be unfounded after a thorough six-month investigation,” said Wallace.
“To be clear: the Silkin report clears me of all serious accusations that gained prominence last year. What was confirmed were instances of inappropriate language between 2005 and 2018,” he continued.
The new season of MasterChef, which was recorded in 2024 and was to be hosted by Wallace, is still under review by the BBC.
