In a recent interview, former child star Danny Pintauro revealed that he juggles five different jobs to support himself.

Pintauro, who played Jonathan Bower on the sitcom “Who’s the Boss?”, from 1984 to 1992, spoke openly about his financial struggles after sharing a photo of himself delivering packages, which went viral.

During an appearance on the podcast “Pod Meets World”, 50-year-old Pintauro talked about fans’ surprise when they discovered that he has a regular job.

According to the actor, when the image was posted, he did not imagine it would cause such a reaction; “When I posted the picture, honestly, it didn’t cross my mind, because everybody knows I’m working,” he said. “It’s one of the five temporary jobs I’m doing right now. We’re freelance actors. Acting is one of the six.”

Pintauro, who starred alongside Tony Danza, Judith Light and Alyssa Milano during the eight seasons of “Who’s the Boss?”, explained that he does not receive residual payments for his participation in the classic series and therefore turns to several side activities to ensure his financial stability.

“We have to do what we have to do to survive,” he told hosts Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle and Rider Strong, who starred in the teen sitcom “Boy Meets World”, in the 1990s. “We, as human beings, need to keep moving. And I know all of you can relate to that”.

For Pintauro, the image showed fans the financial reality many actors face and revealed that, in addition to delivering packages, he also works as an acting coach, teaches classes and workshops, and builds and sells dioramas.
