In the 35th season of the animated series “The Simpsons,” fans bid farewell to the beloved character Larry “Barfly” Dalrymple, known for being a loyal patron of Moe’s Tavern.

Larry’s friends (Homer, Lenny, Carl, and Moe) were tasked with spreading the ashes of their bar buddy. The title of episode 765 is “Cremains the Day.”

Larry’s mother paid tribute during her son’s funeral, who simply died at the bar without many explanations.

“My Lawrence always talked about his best friends, the guys from Moe’s Tavern. It would warm my heart if they came and shared loving memories of my son,” she said in the episode.

Fans paid homage to the character on the X network. “I just found out they’re going to kill off Larry in ‘The Simpsons’ tomorrow. I need a minute,” one of them said.
