The video, which went viral on Instagram and YouTube, shows Will Smith at a concert during his European tour.
“My favorite part of the tour is seeing all of you up close. Thank you for also seeing me,” the actor wrote in the caption.
However, some of his followers questioned whether there were actually that many people in the audience.
“Imagine being so rich and famous and using artificial intelligence to expand the crowd. How tragic, man. You used to be so cool,” wrote one of his fans;
“Fake audience,” said another. “All fake,” accused a third.
Will Smith has not yet commented on whether he did or did not use AI in the video. He is currently on tour promoting his fifth studio album, “Based on a True Story.”
