Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point, was murdered in Utah on September 10, 2025, during a university lecture. Erika Kirk explained how the absence of her partner has affected her.

“What really hits me hard is when I’m at the grocery store and I see his hot sauce and want to buy it,” she said on Tuesday (9).

“Or it’s the little things, his clothes everywhere. I know that people who have gone through a loss completely understand what I’m saying,” she said as tears were already streaming down.

Erika Kirk was promoting her husband’s final book, “Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life.” The manuscript was completed one month before he was murdered.

Host Ainsley Earhardt comforted the widow after she began to cry: “I can’t imagine what you’re going through, you found the love of your life, the goal for all of us. He was taken far too soon,” she lamented.

She then returned to speaking about the book and her husband’s legacy.

“Looking at it now, I see the book as one of the most enduring gifts Charlie left to the world. He didn’t know how brief his time on Earth would be, none of us did,” Erika Kirk said.
