President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday (16) that he would deliver a speech directly from the Oval Office at the White House on Wednesday (17), the same night the season finale is scheduled to air on CBS.
“My fellow Americans: I will be delivering a speech to the nation tomorrow night, live from the White House. I hope to ‘see’ you then. It was a great year for our country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!” he said on Truth Social.
CBS Entertainment confirmed that the speech will air as a special bulletin and that the episode of “Survivor” will be postponed.

“Norah O’Donnell of CBS News will anchor and will be joined by the network’s chief White House correspondent, Nancy Cordes, who will provide coverage from the White House,” the network said in a statement to People magazine.
The three-hour finale of the reality show will resume from where it left off after Donald Trump’s speech.
The interrupted programming also includes the season finale of “The Floor” on Fox.
