In his ongoing war against late-night talk show hosts, Donald Trump once again attacked the host of the “Late Show” on his Truth Social profile.
In a post shared on Tuesday (23), Donald Trump directed his attacks at Stephen Colbert. The U.S. president has long been a vocal critic of the host’s work.
“Stephen Colbert is a pathetic disaster, with no talent or anything else needed to succeed in show business,” wrote the former host of “The Apprentice” in the post.
“Now, after being fired by CBS but left to his own devices, he has actually gotten worse, along with his nonexistent ratings.”

“Stephen runs on hatred and fumes. A walking dead man! CBS should ‘put him to sleep’ NOW. It’s the humane thing to do!” Donald Trump continued, before going on to attack Colbert’s colleagues in the profession.
“Who has the worst late-night host: CBS, ABC, or NBC???” he wrote, referring to Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, and Jon Stewart, calling them “talentless.”
Despite the president’s attacks, both Fallon and Meyers have renewed their contracts with NBC, and Kimmel has also added a one-year contract extension to continue hosting his show on ABC.
Even with his show scheduled to end in 2026, Stephen Colbert promised not to tone down his criticism of Donald Trump.
