The 55-year-old actress underwent a facelift with the celebrity-favorite doctor, Dr. Ben Talei, who used his Instagram profile to show a before-and-after of the TV star’s face.
According to him, facelift procedures, also known as rhytidectomy, aim to treat signs of aging in the lower part of the face and neck by lifting and tightening sagging skin and muscles.
Dr. Talei stated that, although the surgical intervention “does not stop the natural aging process,” his patients “enjoy a more youthful appearance for many years after the procedure.”
Regarding Richards’ procedure, he noted that the focus was on maintaining harmony in the contour of the forehead and the position of the eyebrows. “If you look at the after photo, you can see how much more organized they appear due to the three-dimensional changes I am able to make,” explained Dr. Talei.
“If you look at the contours of the forehead from the side view, you can see how youthful the shape now appears. Her stunning and beautiful eyes were restored rather than altered or simply ‘cleaned up.’ Even her earlobes look better from every angle.
