David Gail, renowned for his significant roles in the “General Hospital” spin-off “Port Charles,” and the popular series “Beverly Hills, 90210,” has passed away at the age of 58.

The news of his death was confirmed by his sister, Katie Colmenares, in an emotional Instagram post last Saturday.

In her tribute, Colmenares expressed deep sorrow and affection, stating: “There was hardly a day in my life when you weren’t by my side.” She described Gail as her protector and best friend, deeply mourning his loss. “The bears will never be the same,” she wrote, referring to a shared memory between them, “but I will hold you so tight every day in my heart, you beautiful loving amazing fierce human being, missing you every second of every day forever, there will never be another.”





The cause of Gail’s death has not yet been publicly disclosed.

On television, David Gail gained prominence portraying Dr. Joe Scanlon in “Port Charles” and Stuart Carson, the fiancé of Brenda Walsh (character of Shannen Doherty), in “Beverly Hills, 90210”. His career, which began in Tampa, Florida, included roles in successful series such as “Growing Pains,” “Doogie Howser, M.D.,” “Murder, She Wrote,” and “Matlock,” solidifying his place in the American television landscape.
