In an interview with LADbible, Bill Lawrence disclosed that “Scrubs,” the hit medical series from the 2000s, will surely get a reboot and it’s just a matter of time before fans can see the Sacred Heart Hospital crew again.

“I’m being very honest about it. We will definitely do it because we all enjoy hanging out together,” Lawrence said. “I’m open to it, and I don’t want to do it as a movie, but I’m definitely open to doing a few more years of this show.”

“It wouldn’t just be fun to see where the characters I loved are now, but also to see what a young doctor looks like today, in terms of the kids coming up behind them, you know.”

The sitcom created by Lawrence was one of the biggest shows of the 2000s and ran for nine seasons; starring Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, and Donald Faison, ‘Scrubs’ humorously and light-heartedly portrayed the experiences and challenges of new medical professionals.
