Actress Cheryl Ladd revealed that she faced breast cancer and that during treatment for the disease she lost all her hair.
During the 50th anniversary reunion of “Charlie’s Angels”, the 74-year-old actress, alongside her co-stars Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson, spoke about her health issue.
“Mine was an aggressive form,” said Ladd, adding: “I had wonderful doctors,” and noting that she went through a humbling experience.
“I went bald. It was a humbling experience, but I have a wonderful husband… he was by my side at every moment. Eventually, some hair began to grow back. It was a long and difficult journey, but you just keep going,” Ladd commented.

According to a report by People, after hearing Ladd speak, Smith—who was also diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002—revealed: “The first thing I did was send my wigs to her. She was very brave.”
Ladd joined the cast of “Charlie’s Angels” in the second season of the series to replace Farrah Fawcett. At the time, the actress was chosen by producer Aaron Spelling from hundreds of candidates. She played detective Kris Munroe from 1977 until the end of the show in 1981.
