British presenter Mary Berry, 89, was once arrested for drug trafficking 31 years ago.
Former judge on the cooking reality show “Great British Bake Off”, Mary Berry, revealed that she was arrested for drug trafficking on a trip to the USA in 1993.
In an interview with “Graham Norton Show”, she explained that she was traveling to the USA to do cooking demonstrations and was afraid there might be issues with the ingredients.

“I weighed all the ingredients – flour, sugar – and placed them in small plastic bags,” Berry revealed.
Drug-sniffing dogs began to react to Berry’s suitcase which was led to a holding cell at the airport along with her assistant, according to the Daily Star.
Police asked if Berry would make money from the “cargo” and she responded “I do, and my rate has already been agreed upon.”.
