Alec Musser, Actor of ‘All My Children’ and ‘Desperate Housewives’, Dies at 50

Alec Musser, known for his role as Del Henry in the soap opera “All My Children”, passed away at the age of 50 on Friday night at his home in Del Mar, California.

The news was confirmed by his fiancée, Paige Press, to TMZ on Saturday, January 13th. Musser’s uncle, Robert, also confirmed the death, though the cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Musser gained prominence in the acting world after winning the second season of the SOAPnet series “I Wanna Be a Soap Star”, which led him to the role in “All My Children”. He appeared on the show from 2005 to 2007, participating in a total of 43 episodes.

In addition to his work in soap operas, Alec Musser had a varied career in television and film, with roles in programs such as ”

Grown Ups”, “Rita Rocks”, “Desperate Housewives“, and the movie “Road to the Altar”.

Before turning to acting, Musser had a successful career as a fitness model and bodybuilder, appearing on the cover of various renowned magazines like Men’s Health, Men’s Workout, and Exercise Health.

Although he had been away from the screen in recent times, Musser maintained a strong presence on social media, where he shared aspects of his life and career.
