“I think [I messed up], I thought: ‘Great, this is my set for life, this is my career.’ I didn’t think it would be so hard to be an actor as it really is,” she recently explained on the Talking Tastebuds podcast.
“I’ve noticed that many fans have the same reaction to me. Sometimes I meet them at conventions and theater plays, and afterwards they say, ‘Why aren’t you in successful movies?'”
“And I’m like: ‘Yeah, why am I not? I don’t know, I just didn’t feel like it, that’s all.’ They have no idea how cruel the industry is,” added the Irish actress.
