Rob McElhenney, acclaimed actor and co-owner of the Wrexham AFC football club, recently shocked his fans by sharing a startling image of his face severely disfigured due to a serious allergic reaction to nuts.
Despite the alarming appearance in the photo, McElhenney, known for his role in “ER” and as the co-creator of the series “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia“, maintained his good humor.
He accompanied the image with a humorous caption: “Aside from this minor allergic reaction to nuts, 2023 was one of the best years of my life. Thank you to the people and places that made it possible. My life is full of love and joy because of you. So excited for 2024. I will stay away from nuts.”
McElhenney’s career extends beyond acting, having made headlines in November 2020 when he and friend Ryan Reynolds acquired Wrexham AFC, a historic football club. This move marked a significant step in his career, expanding his portfolio beyond entertainment and into the world of sports.
At 46 years old, McElhenney continues to impress in both the entertainment and sports sectors, demonstrating a versatility that sets him apart in the celebrity scene.
