Grammy host Trevor Noah landed on Donald Trump’s threat list after claiming that the U.S. leader visited criminal Jeffrey Epstein’s island in the Caribbean.

Epstein was convicted and imprisoned for child abuse and died in prison in August 2019.

In a post on Trump’s Truth Social profile Monday morning (2), the president said Trevor Noah lied and called the host “poor and talentless.”

Before presenting the Song of the Year award to Billie Eilish, Noah made sharp remarks about the controversy surrounding Greenland and mentioned the Epstein case.

“Song of the Year… this is a Grammy every artist wants almost as much as Trump supposedly wants Greenland, which makes sense because Epstein’s island is gone, he needs a new one to spend time with Bill Clinton,” he joked.

Speaking about himself in the third person, the Republican said Noah was wrong.

“I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein’s Island, nor anywhere near it, and until tonight, with this false and defamatory statement, I have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media,” Trump confronted.

“It looks like I’m going to send my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless idiot of a host, and sue him for a lot of money,” he threatened.

The U.S. president has not been accused of any crime related to Epstein.
