Dean Cain, star of “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” defended the ICE agents involved in the killing of nurse Alex Pretti during a protest in Minneapolis on Saturday (24).

“I don’t know all the events that led up to this moment,” the former Superman admitted in an interview with TMZ on Monday (26).

Dean Cain said the ICE agents “have been under pressure” and “suffering tremendous abuse,” which he believes comes from a “100% organized” opposition.

Commenting on Pretti’s killing, the actor said the 37-year-old nurse “certainly wasn’t there just as a peaceful protester” and that he was obstructing federal law enforcement.

“He put himself between law enforcement and that woman, which is a mistake on its own. And doing that while armed is a very, very bad idea,” said the retired Superman.

Videos show Alex Pretti holding his cellphone in his right hand while his left hand is raised. He was trying to place himself between a woman and the ICE agents who were spraying pepper spray at close range.

Seconds later he was restrained by at least six agents who fired ten shots at him. Pretti was immobilized when he was shot.

Dean Cain continued to claim that the deaths in Minnesota were the responsibility of Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, accusing the politicians of not cooperating with ICE forces.

The former Superman claimed without evidence that Walz and Frey were allegedly instructing their citizens to fight ICE on the streets. “I saw clips of this,” he justified.
